Most of these programs were originally written to meet my own needs. Being a software developer, I've had the luxury of making them do exactly what I wanted, but over the years, I have received good input from others as well. As of February 2008, all programs are now freeware, meaning that you no longer have to register them. I hope you enjoy and benefit from using the programs.

i-netLock+ is a multi-function Internet utility program that allows you to completely and securely lock your machine against all Internet traffic. winButler is a Windows productivity utility that can automate repetitive desktop operations into chores and chore lists that can be run via assignable hot keys. For simple tasks, there is a built-in wizard that can automatically create chores for you. For the advanced user, a chore list can contain a sequence of selected chores with completion events to control its progression. You can specify that winButler should delay for so many seconds or wait for a specific window to appear before proceeding to the next chore in the list. Chore lists can also be scheduled to run at specific time-of-day, day-of-week or date.

i-paletteBuilder is a Windows program that allows you to experiment with various color combinations and build your own palettes. It is intended for the web page developer who wants a super efficient (that is, quick and easy) way to pick and select colors from the spectrum, adjust parameters and see them in a test page as quickly as possible.
You can, with just a click of the mouse, select a color, assign it to a web box or the text inside a box, copy it as RGB string and even preview it in your browser. Often, you would like to see several shades or gradients of the selected color and i-paletteBuilder automatically displays 3 shades, whose gradations you can adjust using a slider control.

It allows you to do all sorts of searches for books, music, DVD's and other products. You can even look up other people's wish lists and play Santa. Read reviews of products. Listen to music samples. If you come across an interesting item, send an e-mail to your friends with a link to Amazon product page. All functions are right there in front of you in convenient tabs instead of cluttered browser pages that you must constantly click, scroll and poke.
Of course, you can add items to a local shopping cart and save it locally on your own PC. Then, whenever you are ready, i-myZon can take you right to Amazon checkout page for you to complete your transaction. If you use i-netLock+, you can even login automatically.

aMiner is a specialized data mining program for Amazon's Alexa web services, Top Sites and Web Information. Data returned include global and country-level traffic rankings, reach, page views per million, views per user, links in/out, related sites and speed among others. You choose how much and which information to retrieve. aMiner runs multiple web service queries, creates xml files which can be viewed in a data grid and optionally be converted to either CSV or Excel file formats.
If you operate a web site or need worldwide site-related information for marketing and other purposes, aMiner will prove to be an invaluable tool.
